It is absolutely ok for you to do it! I think this is better for you since you are young. Had I known about this when I was younger, I would have done it then! It is never too early or too late to introduce healthy habits into your life. Something I cannot stress enough though is to listen to your body. If you can’t wait until four then don’t. Never put your body under any unnecessary stress. Some days you’ll just crave something and you should listen to that. It’s important to listen to some cravings. That doesn’t mean grab a tub of ice cream and eat it all haha, but just be conscious of your needs and wants. If we deny ourselves something for too long we want to go a little crazy.
Also, please be sure to eat enough calories. If you notice in these pictures I post it’s entire plates full of fruit. I’ve eaten an entire pineapple, 4 mangoes, and maybe 4 bananas as a breakfast. I’ve eaten half of a giant watermelon and almost 1lb of grapes as lunch. I also snack with more fruit and drink tons of water! Water intake is important! Drinking coconut water or putting chia seeds in your water is good also. I also drink 32oz smoothies when I’m in a bit more of a rush. Bananas are big in my diet. I freeze a lot of fruit so I can have delicious raw thick smoothies whenever. My entire freezer is filled with fruit and ice. Raw salads are delicious too. You can make great avocado cilantro dressings. If you’re not the biggest salad fan then you can always put kale and/or spinach in your smoothies. It’s a delicious way to get your greens. Smoothies are limitless. Though I have made a few that have been horrible :)
In general, I don’t see any problem with a teenager having a raw vegan diet so long as they make sure they are consuming enough calories. Just be sure to do that. There are soo many amazing raw recipes out there from spaghetti to “bacon” to pad thai! Fruits and veggies are great, but you can do a lot more then just eat them as is. I wanted to find a link of an example of how much someone actually consumes in a day. I found this blog here that would be a great guide for you with recipes as well.
Sorry if this was lengthy! But once I starting writing, I just couldn’t stop wanting to say more. I could talk all day about this so ask any other questions and I’m excited to see/read about your journey if this is the path you decide to take!

Surprisingly, I’ve never seen Food, Inc. I got 15 minutes into it before I wanted to cry then punch someone for the way they treat the animals. I’ve read so much about this and have seen old videos, but seeing videos again just has me very upset.
I will never understand how people can be so cruel and money hungry..

Some times you make a smoothie that is just horrible! But you put your awesome fruits and other things in it and must commit to consuming it. 32 oz of one of my worst smoothie ideas yet.
